Yet another day under the fluorescent lights...in a cubicle...with a great view of some trees that keep my sanity intact. This job makes me realize that I will DIE if I ever have to work in a real office, which I probably will. At least with my current major(s) unless I become insanely good at French anytime soon. In actuality, this may never happen.

At least the current fluorescent lights are not as bad as the one in my absurdly small dorm room (which is the biggest dorm room in my hall). And the windows here lead to great sites like more brick buildings and a courtyard with pretty trees, unlike my one window in my dorm room which (albeit, I see trees) leads to a view (and noise level) of the busiest street in town.

During my (strenuous?) working hours so far today, I have discovered and fallen in love with this blog: Tripping On Words And I also think I've read every single entry they've ever written. Man, I'm so angry I forgot my Greek Mythology book today. I hate browsing the internet in my free time. I always run out of websites (isn't that odd?). Maybe I should start actually caring about the world and read the news other than the local newspaper. Can't forget the last time I started living in my little college microcosm and not caring about anything outside of campus, and suddenly the headlines were reading PARIS IN CRISIS. CHAOS. FIRE. FRENCH PEOPLE=BIGOTS=MUSLIMS BURNING THINGS. Something along those lines. I think I started crying and called my mom in almost panic that I would never see the eiffel tower again.
